SCHNEIDER GROUP Strengthens Southeast European Presence with New Office in Moldova
Berlin – July 3, 2024 – International consulting company SCHNEIDER GROUP is expanding its presence in Southeast Europe by opening a new office in Chisinau, Moldova. This strategic move is in line with SCHNEIDER GROUP's vision, as announced by Ulf Schneider, President & Founder, at a recent business event in Chisinau.
“Moldova is developing very dynamically and becoming an interesting supplier country for IT co-operation”, Schneider said. “We see exciting examples of companies setting up production in Moldova. While the Balkans evolve into a promising region for Near-Shoring, Moldova, due to its proximity to the EU, can gain significant advantages.”
Moldova: A Cost-Effective Hub for IT, Manufacturing, and More
Moldova is becoming an attractive destination for international companies seeking to diversify their Southeast European procurement operations in sectors such as electronics, automotive components, and agricultural products. Foreign investment in Moldova is growing in several sectors, including finance and insurance, logistics, and IT. A favourable corporate tax structure, low operating and labour costs, free trade agreements with the European Union, and the access to the Black Sea contribute to the future growth of the country with 3.3 million population.
