SCHNEIDER GROUP’s litigation specialists will defend your interests in state courts (commercial courts named literally as arbitrazh courts and courts of general jurisdiction), as well as before arbitration tribunals (including international commercial arbitration). Yadviga Pavlovich

Yadviga joined SCHNEIDER GROUP in 2020.  She is responsible for litigation services. Yadviga is an advocate, member of the Moscow City Bar since 2013. In 1994-2005, she worked as an in-house lawyer in major Russian banks and oil and gas companies. Since 2005, she worked in Moscow offices of US and European law firms, specialising in representing clients’ interests in Russian commercial courts and courts of general jurisdiction.  She has also experience in representing clients in international commercial arbitration and in cases of recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Russia. Yadviga also represented clients in corporate disputes, for example, in the dispute between big telecommunication services providers from Europe and Russia, as well as in disputes arising from agreements on construction, goods supply (including international supplies) and logistics, in tax disputes, bankruptcy cases, labour disputes, disputes arising from provision of banking services for private clients, etc.  She also participated in disputes in foreign courts (in the USA and Great Britain), has prepared expert opinions on Russian law for the High Court of Justice, US district courts and other foreign states’ commercial courts.  She has in-depth knowledge in corporate law, and M&A, and took part in projects on due diligence of Russian oil and gas exploration and oil-processing companies, and telecommunication services providers, where she was responsible for assessment of intellectual property rights, licensing and court proceedings. Yadviga advised clients on the Russian corporate law, including restructuring and change of corporate control, corporate approval of deals, mandatory share buyback, main shareholders’ and management responsibility.  Yadviga graduated with degrees in Law and Foreign Languages and Literature (English) from Lomonosov Moscow State University, she continued her studies there, pursuing a postgraduate degree in Civil and Private International Law at the Faculty of Law. She defended her thesis on topic "Independent Documentary Obligations" at the Kazan State University and received a degree of PhD in Law.  Yadviga is recognised by the international Legal 500 and “Best Lawyers in Russia” rankings, and listed in the Russian Pravo.ru 300 rating.
